Lisa Louise Adams

Lisa Louise Adams lives in Volcano with her family, making paintings, prints, books, quilts, and pottery. She also loves to help people access their creativity through classes at her Spiral Triangle Studios, through the Hawaii Department of Education and the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts art residencies.

Lisa enjoys the creative process in many media, with special emphasis on color, line, texture and detail.  Experimentation is a major focus as are the beauty of nature, symbols and the mystery of Life. Her work has been featured in numerous invitational and juried exhibitions locally, nationally and internationally since 1987. Lisa’s worldview is optimistic and with her work she strives to emphasize the spiritual and beautiful.

Lisa has studied art at nine Universities and recently earned her Masters in Education for her thesis on "The Importance of the Arts in Education". She is constantly taking workshops and classes to expand her repertoire of techniques and media for her art, and believes that: "learning is the BEST!"
